The flat-screen TV with satellite channels and DVD player made for a thrilling movie night, and the convenient free parking helped me avoid any unnecessary walking. Oh, and let's not forget the luxurious towels that made me feel like royalty.
As if I needed a reminder that I'm not at the Leeds Bradford International Airport, the lack of an airport shuttle service was truly disappointing.

Our stay at the cottage was absolutely delightful. The location was breathtaking, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. The communication with the owner prior to our arrival was excellent, providing us with detailed directions and instructions. The cottage itself was warm, cosy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our family's stay. The beds were comfortable, and the entire place was spotlessly clean. We also appreciated the opportunity to meet some farm animals, which added a nice touch to our experience.
While the heating in the cottage could be a bit inconsistent, resulting in some cold mornings and evenings, it did eventually turn on, although slightly later than stated in the booklet. Additionally, the drainage in the shower cabin could be tricky, as it tended to get slightly flooded after some time.

My recent stay at Scafell Cottage Wasdale was absolutely amazing. The views from the property were breathtaking, with mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The location was perfect for exploring the Wast water area, and there were plenty of things to do nearby. The cottage itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The owners were friendly and made us feel welcome. The area was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. I highly recommend this property.
There was a generator near the property that ran through the night, causing some noise. However, the owners assured us that it only operated during the day and stopped from 11:30pm to 6am.

I had such an incredible stay at Scafell Cottage in Nether Wasdale. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking, with mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The cottage itself was cozy and picturesque, with everything I needed in one big room. The beds were comfortable, and I felt right at home. The highlight of my stay was getting to interact with the farm animals on the property, including horses, sheep, and highland cows. The host, David, was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. The location was perfect for me as I wanted to climb Scafell Pike, which was just a short drive away. I had such a wonderful time and I can't wait to return.
The only small downside for me were the pillows, as one was too flat and the other too high for my personal preference. Additionally, there were a few small issues like not being able to get any channels on the TV and the shower having a rain shower head which made it difficult to adjust the temperature.

The location of the cottage is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and even the sea. the surroundings are peaceful and quiet, offering a serene atmosphere. the cottage itself is warm and cosy, with comfortable beds and a very clean interior. the communication with the owners was excellent, and we received detailed directions and instructions for our arrival.
The cottage layout is quite unusual, with one large room combining the beds, sitting area, dining area, and kitchen. This may not provide a sense of privacy, as the large front windows eliminate any privacy except in the small separate bathroom.
